After graduating ACLC I plan to go to CSU Maritime Academy. There I will study mechanical engineering. I will have a part time job and be able to cut into my student debt before I get out of college, as well as save money for future problems and retirement. The summer after freshman year I will go on Maritime’s cruises where I will be able to apply my first semester learning as I work in the engine room on a ship. This will also give me new experiences in foreign places around the world. Then I will go on this cruise one more time after my junior year at Maritime. While at Maritime I will complete my bachelor's degree and also get the licensing they provide this will allow me to work both land based and sea jobs. I will also try to get an internship while I am at Maritime to help me get a job.

        After maritime I will begin working, I will examine the jobs that are open and figure it out then. At this point I do not have a specific idea of what I do as long as it is a land based job in mechanical engineering that pays well enough. While I start working I will also work on completing a master’s degree, leaving more options open for me. After this I will have open options for the rest of my life. I will continue to live frugally and save as much money as I can. I do not have many plans on from this point, but I will have the options I need to find my way.
